One of two identical benches fabricated for The Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival’s 2022 Production of Much Ado About Nothing. The bench was made from boards of 2×4 pine that were cut to length and its edges trimmed to sit flush with one another. They were then glued and clamped before being given a rough cut with a jigsaw at an angle. It was given a once over with an orbital sander at progressively higher and higher grit. The piece was then stained and sealed, and the legs (fabricated elsewhere) were affixed.
