Set constructed for Urban Stages production of The Porch on Windy Hill. Myself and another carpenter, Jen Fedus, executed designs by Andrew Robinson under the Technical Direction of Jay Seevers. The walls are flats covered in 5 1/2” strips of luan to create clapboard siding. The windows were built to be functional, and both the deck and lattice were distressed to add a weathered and “lived in” feeling to the home. The set painting was overseen and executed by Scenic Charge Sarah Schunke.
